Duration: 1 day(s) - Location: Nosy Komba and Tanikely

Visit Nosy Tanikely, which means "island of the small ground". Departure for Tanikely in the morning, and then off to Nosy Komba after discovering the Marine Reserve. The visit will allow for a visit of a local fishermen village, where the women have been trained in embroidery for years ago, and sell their handicrafts on the beach. The visit of course includes a visit of the private reserve where we see tame lemurs, snakes, tortoises.

SITE NAMES: Nosy Be – Nosy Komba – Nosy Tanikely – Hell Ville – 

PROGRAMME:

8h00: Departure from your hotel and transfer to the harbour of Hell Ville

8h30: Embark the boat to visit Nosy Tanikely

8h55: Arrival at Nosy Tanikely. We install our picnic site and leave our luggage in a safe place under the coconut trees. Discover Nosy Tanikely Marine Reserve. We can snorkel to see multicoloured fishes, corals, and turtles. (snorkelling equipment extra)

12h00: short walk to see the lighthouse from where we have an exceptional panoramic view over the surroundings. We may meet bats and a few lemurs during this walk.

12h30: Leave Nosy Tanikely and embark the boat again to visit Nosy Komba. Lunch on Nosy Komba in an enchanting atmosphere in the middle of an extraordinary vegetation.

14h30: Departure from the restaurant to visit the island,starting with the village of Ampangorina, which is a fishermen village on the Northern part of the island. Discover the local handicraft, mainly embroidery, and the private lemur reserve (tame lemurs everywhere).

15h30: Leave Nosy Komba and back to Nosy Be

16h00: Arrival in Nosy Be.
