The Emerald Sea is an immense lagoon of emerald colour, located just a short distance north. Not very deep, it is possible to plunge into a natural aquarium of dreams, where you can see fish of all sizes, shapes and colorus.
You will relax on the small island of "Nosy Suarez", to benefit enjoy the beach. Small shelters are built there for shelter from the sun, and to let you have a nap if you wish. You will lunch on the beach, enjoying succulent fresh fish accompanied by rice with coconut and salads, and will listen to the crew tell you the legends of the bay.
In the middle of the afternoon, it will be time to take again to the sea in direction of Diego Suarez, going directly by boat, rather than the road.

Access:
From Diego Suarez, travel east along a coastal road. This road finishes at the village of Ramena (20 km) and is in rather bad condition.

History of the roads of Diego Suarez, Bay of the French, Sugar Loaf, endemic baobabs, fishing village.
Emerald sea - splendid lagoon of turquoise blue colour, splendid corals, multicoloured fish.
Duration:
1 hour of driving to get to Ramena.
1 hour boat from Ramena to the small island of "Nosy Suarez" for lunch.
2 hours in a boat for the direct return to Diego.
