There are two possibilities for you to get to the island from the main island of Madagascar:

• You can choose the sea route, from Mahajunga (a sea port on the west coast of Madagascar) orAnkify, a small port facing Nosy Be where you could take a small ferry boat.
• You can also choose the air flight route. Nosy Be is situated 30 flying minutes away from Diego Suarez, or a one-hour flight from Antananarivo.

There are also direct flights to Nosy Be from Paris, Milan, La Reunion Island, Mayotte and Johannesburg.
